A Return to the Blogosphere

I must admit I was actually surprised to hear some of my friends request I start maintaining my blogs again.  Blogging was originally intended to be a way for me to creatively waste time and perfect my writing.  At some point in the last year I really lost interest despite the various blogs I have in the pipeline waiting to be updated.  I recently started attending the University of Phoenix online with the desire to finish my bachelors.  Anyone familiar with UoP knows that writing papers and posts are a daily habit as a student there.  Ironically the increase in mandatory writing has rekindled the desire to write for fun, thus I return to the blogosphere. 

I think this blog will remain a general account of my life and philosophy as I branch out with other blogs related to my hobbies and interests.  So if you are reading this feel free to follow me and comment.

I get that the intent of these signs is to portray a hand waving in a friendly manner yet every time I see one I think more of someone raising their hand in a “stop” motion.  Just an observation.

I was actually intending to take a picture off the dock in the apartment complex but the walkway leading to it has always really stood out to me.  Unfortunately I was on a time crunch and realized when I checked my camera that I had left the memory card back in my Mac.  Luckily my trusty Droid Incredible came the rescue.  I took a couple of pics with and without the red berries and I thought it looked better with them.

This is the limited edition Magic Hat beach cruiser that Ricky won at a beerfest almost 6 months ago…..and it has not left the living room since.  I would say it’s taking up space but its not like I really have a lot in my living room….

365 Project: Day 17 – January 17, 2011

Today was a very lazy and uneventful day.  Just to get a pic done I tried out the “kids & pets” setting on my camera.  I don’t really see that big a difference but I guess this setting is meant for taking pics of smaller objects than a grown adult.
